To be fair yes the treatment of the animals is disgusting, brutal and unnecessary but this is the reality of life. If we were wild and in our natural state we would probably be doing a lot worse.
I’m not saying I agree with it because tbh it is sickening, they should be treated and killed humanely, but do you really think if we shot them with an arrow to the ass they died an easy pain free death? No, they’d be in immense pain before they got their head caved in with a rock..

its not necessarily how they die, but how they are kept and the lives they live before they die. being mass farmed never seeing sunlight, living in there own feces being confined to a space where they can barely move.

I know, like I said I don’t agree with it but how else do you think 7 billion people are going to get fed? If we didn’t waste as much food as we do then there wouldn’t need to be as many animals so more space. Welcome to capitalism, remember you chose it.

Just like to point out i’m not defending the conditions they are kept in that would be ludicrous.

well the thing is that meat is a luxury, we use more grain to feed cows just in america to feed the world over. were as meat is now peoples main source of food, where as it doesn’t need to be. we can create skyscrapers for just vegetables 4-5 of them can sustain over 8 million people all year round. just think we could utilize things a bit better

and hole heartedly agree on the waste of food.

Meat isn’t a luxury imo, we have been eating it since our creation, it is in us to eat meat. I see what you’re saying but things like electricity etc. are luxuries, although I suppose you’re right in a sense as we don’t actually need to eat meat to survive and can be sustained on just vegetables and that.

We can quite easily feed the world on meat with out factory farms.
Intead of fat cats having the monopoly of huge abizmle farms, more small family farms.
Also if people ate meat twice a week instead of every day.

Sorry i didnt mean to quote deezl

I feel the exact same way towards peta.
They are good at what they do but they need to realize people will always eat
And its this neo-vegan attitude they have that get them laughed at.
They would be much better of saying ‘ yeah eat your mate but please make sure its free range’

Oh and their website is called the ‘peta-files’ – bad name choice.

The pet a-files, Jeezus someone needs sacking for that one.

Bear in mind though many Americans have North European ancestry and take things literally, and they also own a fuckload of guns. If they did that homeless and vulnerable people in the USA would actually start disappearing in droves..

Also the relative abundance of food and its low price is a recent thing from the 1990s, even allowing for ethnic/cultural differences between my family and those of friends those of us above their 30s were taught that food had to be respected and also where it came from and that living creatures either died or had their freedom restricted to produce it.
