  • interesting insight on life inside in the USA – although with this and the excessive sentence for Ross Ulbricht I’m amazed Americans still dare call themselves a “Christian” country as modern Christianity (and all other religions) emphasises forgiveness of sins (and all this Estonian dude did was help others commit a fraud, not do it directly).

    Estonia BTW is supposed to be one of the most freethinking countries in Europe – not bound by strict political systems or religion (most people are atheists there although Lutheran Christianity is next popular, fairly normal for the region) yet they came across as equally judgmental – ironically if USA had an agreement whereby he could have done half his time in EE (like most other nations do) he’d probably have been better treated in prison…

    I’d never work for a modern small startup company even if they offered to pay me loads as loads of them are doing sketchy shit that breaks laws in the countries in which they operate and claim its OK because its “creative disruption” or some other bullshit buzzword term (even if their staff aren’t risking prison many of them go under without paying their salaries anyway).
