You got my absolute respect for pulling your life out of that situation mate – its not easy and anyone who can be there and pull things round deserves the respect and support of society imo rather than the stigma these things carry – it takes a lot of strength of character to change the habits of a lifetime, let alone when such a powerful addiction is involved.

You can only ever give something up successfully if ur doing it for urself. Nice one SD.

Also you cannot ‘make’ other people give something up f they don’t want to.

And that’s not even considering the question of having the right to make other people do stuff, be it give up or be your crutch so u can give up.

Taking drugs has risks associated with it, anyone who says it doesn’t is daft or in denial.

Educate yourself as much as you can, be as happy as you can without hurting anyone else and be responsible for youself including your drug-use/pastime of choice.
