if i use the google forums search to look for, say, zombie barbies, i get (correctly) links into the 8,300 posting “what are you doing today” thread, amongsth others. for instancehttp://www.partyviberadio.com/forums/life/21610-any-plans-today-username-536-print.html
unfortunately i have msgs per page set to 50 not 25 and there is no page 536 when i go to that thread so the google link doesn’t work.
phpbbs forum search still works but doesn’t seem to give as useul results as it used to, i guess you did say it was struggling dr.b. but i can’t seem to see where we can chose to return individual postings instead of threads – that was an important feature when searching massive threads.
not sure if the google thing is easily fixable but wanted to mention this since we discussed the google search bar earlier.
