  • i’ve never been to a free party and i’m interested. as its easter soon, I was thinking about going to one but don’t know where to find one. from what i’ve seen in a few threads, i have to prove i’m not police or something but i thought i’d try anyways, just in case. if there are any upcoming ones around in brighton, london or somewhere in essex, i’d be grateful if someone could tell me about any of them.

Didn’t know there were a thread about free parties or parties in general.

BUT IF IT DOES NOT EXIST, IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE ONE ABOUT THAT.

I FOUND AN AMAZING SITE ABOUT ALL TECHNO PARTIES AROUND THE WORLD, REALLY COOL.

I LET CHECK AND I ADD AN IMAGE OF IT
BY CLICKING ON EACH CIRCLE CONTAINING THE NUMBERS OF EVENTS, YOU CAN APPROACH EVERY WORLDWIDE REGION.

FOR PEOPLE OWNING A PRIVATE JET, THATS A GOOD WAY TO DECIDE WHO’S FRIENDS HE’S GONNA VISIT NEXT WEEK END…

(FOR VIP HAVING 2MUCH$, THATS USEFULL…)

TBH we do not normally get to hear about freeparties in UK until a few hours before they happen.

15 years ago it was possible to put up partylines on this site in plain view and the cops hardly bothered monitoring them but times have changed. It wasn’t long after that I could see every country’s cops trying to look at stuff on here, and occasionally UK Police posted themselves to warn people against putting on events in some areas (they even used official government approved Internet connections so we would know it was genuine cops and not people trying to play silly jokes).

Organisers of the bigger British ones in recent times have taken the chance sharing info using some social networks like Facebook. the organisers assume they can get enough people on site before the cops manage to track down where the event is happening – unfortunately as I stopped going to these events just before the use of FB became popular for sharing the info I do not know how reliable a method this is of finding free parties.

The reality is cops stop parties because neighbours call 999 about the noise rather than doing surveillance with GCHQ etc. Those agencies only get involved to track people who fund their lifestyles via serious drug dealing (by that I mean kilos of class A or thousands of pills, not the average weekend raver).

People have had to become more discreet with regard to chatting about parties *before* they happen but clearly there is still some info exchanged on line.

For freeparties in mainland Europe there is this site as well : http://shockraver.free.fr/infoparty23.htm

Those of us in Britain who want to attend a Euro party should make the most of the next two years, as after that we may have to go through extra customs and immigration checks!

      Welcome!
