Partly depends on your own colouring – the white one looks good on a gal with a darker skin colour, the red might be better on a paler complexion (contrasts).

There’s also the accessories to consider… silver/white on red (earrings/shoes) goes pretty good, although black generally goes with anything.

Given that you are a new Englander (Maine) my gut reaction is the red BUT… depends on what everybody else is wearing.

If there’s another couple with a similar outfit, then the sole couple in white might be the winner…

… oh, I’m being indecisive. I reckon the red. You might want to put a poll question up to get different opinions. It’s more provocative, more sensual, in my opinion.

I personally prefer the red dress but it all comes down to the wearer and how it’s worn. Plus do you want formal/sassy ect.? If I remember your pic you have blonde hair don’t you? In which case in my opinion you’d be better in the white. Disagree that paler complexion looks better in red and vice versa. But hey I’m colour blind so listen to the guys above lol.
