There is a new product that looks like a bag of crisps but is actually dried apple rings and they are lovely. My mate had a dehumidifier for food, you put in fruit slices and it dries them out to chewy snacks or the banana crisps you get.
Whole food stores do really nice mushroom and pepper pate which are great on crackers.
Crispbread with bannanas and nuts
Bean sprouts are good too. I make my own and cant stop eating them when they are ready.
I have a vegan book somwhere I will look it out for you for some more ideas
that dehumidifier sound s great – any idea how much for one?
