I recall having a conversation with a friend a long time ago about what would be the best thing to do if you were on probation; the conclusion: trip all the time.

I am not sure, but i can’t remember that LSD was tested during my therapy and probation time.

I WOULD BE VERY CAREFULL WITH THESE DATAS : (FOR PEOPLE ON PROBATION HAVING A RISK TO GET PROBLEMS IF POSITIVE, I AM A GOOD EXAMPLE OF WHAT THOSE DATAS CAN BE DANGEROUS).

I had 5 years jail sentence (1996), but suspended to let me work (as I had found an ingenior work before court) and continue my ambulatory therapy that I had already begin 1991. I never stopped consuming, so I always said to my doctor, no need to make a test, am anyway positiv. So I had no positiv datas. His reports every 6 month were saying am regulary there folowing the therapy.

But 2004, 8 years after my sentence, I went to my doctor free off any consummed heroin since 7 weeks and asked him to make my first test.

“FUCK YOU BITCH TEST RESULT”, 2 weeks later he annouced me I was still positiv after 50 days abstinence. My Doc thoughts that so many years heavy consomation of methadon & heroin made my bones releasing slowly opiods concentrated.

IT’S JUST CRAZY THAT THIS STUPID ACTION BROUGHT THE JUSTICE TO DECIDE THAT THE THERAPY FAILED AND THEY REALLY THOUGHT I WOULD PRESENT MYSELF TO THE ENTRY OF A HIGH SECURITY JAIL A FEW MONTH LATER WITH MY LUGGAGE LIKE IF I COME FOR 5 YEARS HOLIDAYS…

(The difference was that I & my ex-gf took a plane to columbia were westayed early a year, )

PART 2 : (without detail) be carefull with these Data, I have smoked more than heavely also for 15 years until I had to made a test in a Germany jail…BELIEVE ME OR NOT, BUT I HAD STILL TRACES OF COCAIN AFTER 10 WEEKS OF ABSTINENCE !!!

Yeah, it depends on the quality of the test, how long you’ve been using, ect but Mushrooms and LSD are just really hard to test for. Obviously passing your tests is a big part of probation and mandatory in the USA.

People can smoke marijuana right before an oral swab and still pass the test. Whereas urine, blood and hair can be there for a long time.

Some folks play roulette with their freedom by continuing to use and then taking something that is supposed to help you pass your test.

i was very surprised when a month ago itbecame possible to buy cbd in tabacs but with less than 1% THC

THE PROBLEM IS, EVEN I % WILL GET THE TESTERS FROM THE COPS POSITIVE ON THC, SO DRIVERS COULD ACTUALLY SMOKE REAL Powerfull weed without fear loosing their driving licenz?

as alcohol is sold everywhere in CH I suspect its left up to the individual user to decide for themselves whether or not they are safe to drive (same as with the alcohol, and also legally prescribed drugs..)

Drugs can be detected in hair for well over 30 days in almost all cases. , I think a limit of 6 months or so was mentioned but another limiting facor is the length of the hair available to be sampled, and to some degree hair can be used to roughly date when drugs were consumed as once the drug is in the hair ( in tiny trace amounts) it’s not metabolised any further in the body and doesn’t continue to break down and be expelled from the body, without cutting the hair, but any body hair can be used.

It is probably most commonly used when investigating deaths, when ait is useful to have an indication of how the persons life was in respect to what was in their systems in the past. Possibly the person hadn’t used anything in the few days prior to deah and so would likely have no metabolites of anything left in the blood or urine.
