the bots cannot get at the private messages but your ISP can still be ordered to do so and many large ISP, cable and telephone companies hand over anything as soon as they see a badge and shield because the feds and govt are some of their biggest and most profitable customers (they are willing to pay premium rates for protected/encrypted communications circuits).
The levels of forum activity vary with timezones; we have mostly European users but there are a fair few Americans and increasingly more Asians are on here..
