How many of you have had relationships where you either were not attracted at first and/or were friends with before you became romantically involved?

Me and my current girlfriend of 2 years started off as colleagues, became friends which transformed into a fuck buttler scenario which in turn developed into the healthy and loving relationship it is today. I think shes a keeper but if something did cause us to split im pretty sure we’d remain friends. We have a real chemistry and its difficult to imagine us ever not getting on.

i only get romantically involved with sheep and tbh, i find it hard to form friendships with them. it feels more tasteful to make friends first but sometimes its hard to know if you’ve really achieved that bond as they tend to keep their cards close to their chest, and it can be difficult to work out if they really like u or if they’re just playing you along. i think sometimes they may not be so attracted to me as they run away when i hint that i may be interested in romance, but others seem aware that one thing will probably lead to another and go along with the sweet nothings without getting to jumpy

I met my current partner on here in 2006, chatting shit, we were friends for a few years meeting at parties / festies / demo’s and then it just clicked around 2009 and still going strong. He’s not my ‘usual’ type, but he’s kind and good fun and dances!! yay!

my ex liked me for 2 years while we friends, but i was naive and didnt realise, then we went out for 2 years. worst mistake of my life. loved that girl to bits, but now cant even talk to her… wish we hadnt of ruined a great friendship :/

ME!!!! We were friends (though that is what girls think they are, but boys don’t intend), and after some time we started a relationship. I really was confused in the beginning, like, he was a friend! But then it couldn’t be better! I think the best relationships are based on friendship!
