  • Hey how do you make a tagline or quote on the bottom of your post or it that only for you rich subscribers :p

Also the chat box I think I read that’s only for sub’s too, is it worth it like cause I don’t see so many people posting and if it is its the same ones or random wankers (ha pun)

Also read a while back something to do with a spilt in the site? Would like info on it to be nosy haha and I clicked on partyvibe.com at the top of the page, do you lot go on that aswell??

Was just wanting to know the score 😀

I am not sure what the current rules on taglines are (they were once available to everyone but some people took the piss with them) but if its enabled on your account the menu can be found at “forum actions > edit profile > edit signature”

partyvibe.com and partyvibe.org were the same site.

They were split around 2012 as at the time one advertising network used to fund this site was working with some big brands and these brands refused to fund a site with info that was “not suitable for under 18s” on it.

my personal opinion is splitting the site in this manner has just balkanised the community and discouraged the intelligent teenagers and young adults the advertisers were presumably hoping to reach (as .org can end up behind age/content filters in the UK and perhaps other countries) so no ones won from it, but we are stuck with the aftermath.

At least it was done without losing too much content as there is the entire history of the UK underground rave scene (including the tail end of the last century) and associated lifestyle / culture choices on here plus much valid harm reduction info…

Good to know why the site split happened.

    That you 😀
