i was watching this last night and i couldnt make it out if it was anti or for drugs
i think the film is not objective but trying to give you a view of the lifestyle from multiple perspectives, good and bad. Good Film, im the pint of vodka guy….. ooo too many drugs for 2 long takes it toll :P…. or at least i was that guy for a while :P.
I think the movie is very slightly biased toward being pro-drugs; although it shows a bit of the darkside its fairly mild compared to things I have seen happen in real life… and TBH the characters were leading shit lives anyway during the week and their drugs are the only real (but temporary) escape from these lives…
yeah i think thats probably true, although i think its either one or the other, like trainspotting was blatently anti
cant remember,
so long since I’ve seen it – I just remember lusting after John Simms…….:groucho: sorry
i think its definately pro-drugs. the negative effects aren’t portrayed strongly like in somethin like trainspottin, and it has lines about how safe ecstacy is and anti-prohibition lines in there too (“alcohol kills 30,000 people in britain alone, but that’s alrite, cos thats a good taxable drug none-the-less”)
anti drugs … human traffic? are we thinking about the same film here?
exactly what i was thinkin when i first read the thread! :you_crazy
thinking about it yeah i dont think in anyway shape or form human traffic could even hint to a darker side of drugs, pubs a parties
love, jip
I like the bit where they r on a come down and cant establish a conversation or move or anything and r pretty muntered.. fairly accurate there
yep i sware some mornings i feel like im out of that party scene lol….everyone just sat feeling sorry for themselves.. awww..
