on first sight you think “how backward, where are the road markings and traffic signals?” that can’t be safe at all..
but then you realise its a credit to the Indians – without any of these regulations there are big lorries, buses, cars, bikes and cyclists all sharing the road and negotiating a busy junction with tramlines without having loads of accidents… yet in more “modern” countries like Malaysia (which have lots of traffic lights, markings etc) the accident rate is horrendous and in a Western country if this happened at a junction I reckon there would be loads of accidents…
I wonder how they do it?
