i like how you think you know so much about me. 1) how do you think you know how old i am? 2) i dont do pills so your way off the mark there. The love is everywhere mate and i saw plenty of it at a beautiful party with amazing friends old and new. Also if you dont think the music is as good why do you want to party why dont you just sit at home and reminisce (sp?) abbout the old days where everything was so good, the drugs were better, music better, people better, blah blah blah. But anyway all of this arguing isnt getting you anywhere. And the way your coming across im not surprised your not finding out about any parties.
go on here http://www.purple.com and ask if they know about any parties? sure they’ll be able to point a totall randomer that no-one kknows in the right direction. good one. :you_crazy:

but i do mean it quite seriously. If it was really easy to get to free parties, they would become just like clubs i reckon.

As for the Rozzers wake up n smell the coffee of course they are monitoring this site as well as a million others. And all the party lines… I know how it works we dont know where the party is till we call the phone ..just like the old days!!! so…that genrally means the old bill (hello officer if your reading this!) dont know where the party is…..bingo we are all in the same boat!!!

This information must be out there or there would be no people at [parties!!

Jesus in the old days you might as well have driven a ice cream van around blasting out the whereabouts!!!!!

Remember during all this i live in kent near the m25!!! the spiritual home of the old orbital parties …. i remember driving to a warehouse in north london only to get there and be told that the party had changed and was basically in kent almost at the end of my mates road!!!

so back to the point all i want is a bit of help….a nudge in the right direction …

hopefully theres someone here who knows something i dont and can help me out!

Thats the thing really isnt it… the love… years ago thats what all this was about the love n the music… now the music might not be good but thats not always important at a good party with nice people,, but it seems that even the love is disapearing!

Im mostly going to reiterate what everyone else has said here to be honest, but here I go anyway.

Firstly, the site IS monitored by police, some posts have even been shown on BBC News website video only about a year ago with something to do with the Norwich lock-down. Paranoia doesn’t come into it, it’s fact.

I understand you think “Well they already know the folks involved”, which is true to a point. However, every single bit of information all paints a small part of a bigger picture. If everyone had your attitude the OB would have a pretty detailed idea about what is going on. Loose lips and all that. So many times these days I see fucking facebook messages, and free party groups on there sending out numbers and what not, even to me and I don’t even know them for fuck sake.

I might be young but Im not daft, gone are those days where you could chuck numbers about willy nilly.

Secondly, everyone else is right. If you do want to find out about things, stick about, get involved in the online community by just chatting making mates and what not. It’s obvious OB wouldn’t put that much effort into socialising to get this information, so post away! Not to mention it’s not like it’s even a chore, by the sounds of things you wouldn’t have many people to go with anyway seen as you don’t know about partys at the minute, so it might be useful to meet folk off here to keep in the know and make some sound friends while you are at it!!

Coming on here and being, quite frankly, insulting, isn’t going to get you sorted out. Just because you are older and are from “the good old days” doesn’t mean you are somehow entitled to get a free pass by being a nob. And actually there are loads of ex-partiers and people partying still on here, who are your age or even alot more, and they don’t give off the same attitude as you at all.

Some of what I’ve said probably sounds condescending but you did kind of throw the first stone by insulting some safe people.

Oh and lastly, the reason why you might not have got a good reason to begin with, is because these type of posts come up daily. Even though alot of us made our debut post of the same stuff, people tend to lean towards the comedey side of it more these days.

Actually, one more thing… If you think people are being dicks on here, try Squatjuice.com, similar forum, same principle, but yeah :laugh_at:

This happened around 2008, around the same time this chap made his posts. However, its not even that expensive (compared to here) to get to London on a weekend!

its all about how dedicated you are i suppose! process travels blooming miles to come see us for a weekend! you get out what you put in!

i used to love traviling up and down the country for parties, to sample the different rigs atmosphere & tunes! it was half the fun! i can remember our younger lot getting to parties on public transport & taxis, sometimes in the middle of welsh mountains! now thats hardcore! their journeys home were “intresting!” ha!

i was rather confused about his latest post a year later!

I had the same problem, finding out after they had happened. I do know there were a few parties last two summers running, somewhere near to Rochester in a large property and grounds, obviously won’t name the place or area! There was also free parties at Wouldham/Blue Bell Hill a fyears ago but that has disappeared. I did wonder if the parties close to Rochester were being organised by the same people? If you are local and hear of anything let me know, me and my mates are getting fed up of the usual choice of nights out in Mid Kent want some allnight outside parties like BITD 😉
