Unfortunately the laws and enforcement against raves have become a lot harsher in England recently – if people say too much about a free party in advance cops will shut it down.
The cops read this and other sites for info as well, and if partyline numbers are posted they will monitor and record them (we had a big list of partylines that had to be deleted because of this problem).
Also if people just put on their first post to a board “where is the free party” without introducing themselves (such as saying where you are from, what music you like – nothing too personal, just usual ravers’ talk) , people get paranoid and think you are a cop!
Best thing to do (unless someone is willing to send you a private message) is to go to some of the licensed London events and make friends with a few people there – this is how I did it years ago before there were mobile phones or internet 🙂
