I usually get buzzed about 10 minutes after having a couple shots. I start to feel lazy and happy and I feel like a ragdoll when I walk around. But about an hour after that, the opposite happens. I start to feel really jittery and sometimes nervous, like I have lots of energy. Does anyone else have similar experiences after the buzz wears off?

If you want to know true energy, take some stims. Alcohol doesn’t give you energy its a depressant..

Yeah, I do get the depressant effect of alcohol for a little more than an hour after having a few drinks. But after that time has passed and the depressant effects have mostly worn off, it’s like my body has to compensate for the time beforehand when I was buzzed by making me jittery so I can use up the excess energy (or something like that).
