I smoke Mayfair King Size and always get a bunch of shit from people around, getting called a chav, tramp, etc. I’m nothing near a chav and not really poor. I just like Mayfair, I smoked Mayfair since I was 11 and got used to it (probably because Mayfair is what everone smoked at 11-17).

What do you think of Mayfair?

All my mates (when they smoke actual ready made cigs) smoke these, and so did I when I used to regularly smoke tobacco.

IMO it doesn’t matter anyway. If you are going to smoke you might as well get the cheapest stuff and put the least amount of money into the pockets of the big tobacco companies…

Mayfair are the best of the budget fags IMO….although I used to have a mate that worked in a tobacconist so I paid 30p a pack on Davidoff Blacks, so I smoked them til he got fired. Then paid £3 for duty free B&H gold.

Though I don’t smoke anymore…..haven’t for a year and a half :bounce_m::bounce_m::bounce_m:
From 40-50 a day to none :toxic:

When I used to smoke cigs (haven’t done for 7 years) it was either Mayfair or B&H. Used to like mayfair to be honest. Nothing wrong with them, especially at that price.

I seem to remember that Mayfair are the poorer mans B&H as they come from the same group. Mayfair is made up of the dregs left over from B&H, but that could just be a rumour. Never actually looked in to it.

I smoked for 15 years (gave up 4 years ago) and almost always smoked Embassy No1, these werer the first fags I smoked.

It strongly suggests that advertising of Fags is directed mainly at non-smokers (kids) as established users are unlikey to be swayed.

yep, although in this country it was always forbidden to put ads near schools they definitely targeted the areas where colleges and universities are situated, and some brands like Lambert and Butler were defo going for “student friendly” advertising…

mayfair, mainly cos there cheaper. the quality seems to be goin downhill a bit tho, the shit you find in them when making mixes. a mate once found a twig nearly the whole length of the fag lengthways inside one!

I don’t like em, but don’t think the type of cigarettes you smoke make you a chav!! I smoke benson and hedges.
