fuck knows how or when i got em, started out as a headache and sore throat all last week, then the second they went away and i thought ‘sweet, i can go out and enjoy the weather’ i came over with a rash. wasnt too bad yesterday but proper itchy today :yakk: surely you only get this when your younger like chicken pox??

anyone had em?? how long before i can go enjoy the weather??

knowing the uk its gonna be shite by the time im ok.

Contact your doctor urgently – measles is a notifiable disease and also may be dangerous to those of us past puberty.

Contact NHS24 and ask for advice which if I am correct is likely to be something like this:
Take something to reduce your fever, calamine lotion on those itchy spots,{ I think sunshine is ok for the spots [sea air will dry them off a treat] } but you must stay away from the young, old and those with compromised immune systems and anyone who hasnt had them…..

cheers for te advice, notified the doctor to see if i had my MMR jab, turns out i did so i shouldnt have this at all. the itching is the worst, no sleep till 7am last night. sat there watching sunrise trying not to scratch!!
