  • my friend mentioned something to me yesterday, he recons that when people are given morphine they can sometimes be given something else along side it, to kill the nausea… does anyone know if this is true? and if so what is it? and if its easily accessable, would it be any good to mix with any other drugs that cause bad nausea, such as mescaline?

People are often given an ‘anti emetic’ – (anti – sickness either injection or tablet)

As far as I know these are ‘prescription only’ as they have their own potential side effects

( which can be nasty and need another tablet or injection to take away )

some names I have heard of – metaclopramide, domperidone, cyclllizine (spelling prob wrong for all of them)

I dont know if over the counter travel sickness pills would be of assisance as I know nothing about them – but it may be worth investigaing?

in our house we own, something called milk of magnesia, whitch is used to neutralise stomach acid and to stop stummy pains, we also own something called kaolin and morphine, this mixture has bit of morphine in as well as kaolin whitch stops stummy upsets, ur welcome to borrow some, or prob down at the pharmacy, or just as them, what would stop “mesc tummy”

I cant remember what i was taking but it gave you nausea when you first took it (Probably BHW), some one had suggested travel sickness tablets.

I never tried it as i dont really give two monkeys about the nausea, it wears off before it gets too much usually. Also maybe because i have quite a strong stomach, well stuff has been in my mouth or swallowed that would make a lot of people puke :yakk:

Trying to change the game’s rules?

IMO,we should first accept the “dark side” of drugs,as comedowns or nausea…I remeber a very old word of wisdom, wich translation would be:

“who wants the Sun,wants the Snake”…

There’s a “price” (not in the moral meaning) for everything…

Metaclopramide is what i was given when i had gastric flu.. it didn’t work to kill the nausea then but they have worked wonders before stopping nausea on other things.. but yep they are on prescription only..

i guess if i wanted to household medicines would probably be the best solution then, but im not hugely keen on mixing hallucinogenics with prescription drugs, was more just a curiosity really…

i’ll stick to my ginger tea and digestive biscuits, seem to do the job

    very good point

i usually enjoy the comedowns and the nausea can be quite exciting, causes if its bad its generally a sign of something very fun to come…

only thing is if your out and about and away from the creature comforts of home, keeling over clutching your stomach isnt the best for social occasions…!!

We used to take MST with cyclizine or domperidone, both on prescription…

This was before I had any tolerance to opiates though and you needed it not to throw up.

Mind you i used to quite enjoy throwing up and gouching out….
