almost certainly not mate, but maybe, cops are the original “blue meanies”, not every spore trader had grown stronger and stronger cubes, or injected their substrates with various bits to increase to content of the two active alkaloids if selling fruit. There’s maybe 20 “strains” of cube knocking around with the name ‘blue meanie’. Also in true circles there’s a debate on whether they actually exist, or if they are another strain of cop that happens to grow strong psi under certain conditions. But that doesn’t sell spores (pick whatever shroom site you want to look at, they are all the same, a front for spore sellers). As an experiment we brought 5 different syringes from the major Dutch retailer that supplies everyone else and looked at the spores under a scope. All identical. We cultured them, identical mushrooms in size, shape and potency. 2 of them were unlabelled (the two so called strongest), the other labelled the classics as you’d know them. Showed the community, posts and photos all deleted in minutes on two sites. The best bit was my little bit of fun, giving them to friends showing them the report on the sale site of what they were taking – all reported exactly what the report said they should, except we didn’t give them those actual shrooms, they were random. Colourful this, insightful and spiritual this, but they wern’t taking those mushrooms. Truth is that (almost all) shrooms contain two chemicals that effect the brain, get them in you and you trip how your brain is ready to that day IMHO. Get one in you, and you hallucinate but don’t get that other deeper feeling. One guy didn’t come up at all, but had taken something else a couple of days earlier, not surprising, mushrooms do this, they are heavily effected by other drugs and effect other dugs heavily. To experience them properly you need to be “clean”.
When in places like thailand where they go out and pick the shrooms they load the shakes up with shit loads of them, it means nothing, they grow everywhere. There’s no money in shrooms, they just attract guys to the bars where they drink alcohol. Buy from a european farm making a big profit and you get your measured out number of grams in varying sizes of fruit that aren’t that predictable in what you get.
Although cops can be grown if you know someone in that area who will send you a print, just avoid heavily profit oriented sites and find enthusiast e-mail circles, they are very strong, but if growing yourself you can simply take more of what you grow**
**cultivating shrooms in the UK is class A, as is buying!!!! Forget any off the myths of drying makes them illegal or somesuch crap you hear in the pub – any active mushrooms is illegal full stop. Although quite how they can stop people picking them in the wild I don’t know. I think a prosecution is probably impossible.
