i think it was more the fact the manufacturers were pissed off for their ‘different varieties’ of mushroom all being exposed as exactly the same thing, therefore losing money
having never really looked into this (too complicated) I wasn’t sure if they were being sold at different price points or they were the same price but different types
but with scams like this hardly surprising why gedoogbeleid is under threat :hopeless:

on here the rules are that we do not remove content unless someone was really putting themselves or others at risk by giving away too much information.
TBH I have never heard of a European citizen getting in trouble for discussing even in detail their own personal drug use (we cannot however protect people from specialised / targeted surveillance ops should they have come to notice of their country’s law enforcement agencies, nor posts being used as “soft intelligence” in such operations), but this usually only happens to people who deal for profit and then brag about it online.
because the sites are simply a front for selling and promoting spore suppliers, and the suppliers are much like the RC guys now, they pitch anything out with no care for what it is. We’d seen cases of mods and “independent experts” saying that the shape of the cap looked right when they simply weren’t etc. When shown microscopic pictures showing the spores were identical, just a different sticker put on them, they deleted instantly. It was simple protection of unethical business.

it’s really not my thing, but my understand is that weed seed shops do the same. Also making out there are so many “strains” is a lot of nonsense – shrooms are the same. Keep people interested. Keep them spending, when actually the production is self sufficient after buying the first syringe / print.

Across the UK, Germany and the Benelux countries its not uncommon to see the exact same bicycle (same quality components) being sold under many different brand names, perhaps with a different frame colour but its the same machine. Sometimes there are price differences of several hundred euros between the bikes.
but when cyclists forums point this out, the manufacturers make no attempt to censor debate, its just seen as “free choice and free markets” – some dealers have more bikes and can sell them cheaper…
And if any attempt is uncovered to fix the price of the machines or to mislead consumers, the EU eventually come down on the companies like a ton of bricks (A 1000kg metric ton of course :laugh_at:) –
stupidity like this when people are already selling a controversial product just makes the non-drug using majority and the politicians feel that seed sellers and RC companies simply aren’t mature enough to deal honestly in the legitimate business community and are just criminal scum..
