Just watched it with english subtitles and it didn’t make more sense to me, than if it had been in the original language :laugh_at:

*You're my favorite place to go to when my mind searches for peace *

Google think the video is in Portugese so the autotranslate is not going to work at all :laugh_at:

TBH I only found the video by chance, as I’d been searching for “ular” (MY: Snake) and guessed that as “bomba” (similar to FR: pompier/firefighter)) means Fire Brigade this would be something to do with the Malaysia Fire Brigade dealing with snakes.

The title reads “Fire Brigade are giving cobra a bath”.

Which as it is likely to be +30 Celsius out there, the snake is quite happy about and thus doesn’t strike at the firemen.

I think this is the same guy in all the news articles; he has made quite a few other films for training firefighters. I can’t understand what they are saying either on any of them (although the snake is being very well behaved during a long presentation in a training area) – TBH if I was out there and saw such a snake I’d just call 999/112 and the Brigade will turn up and take it away somewhere more suitable (they work closely with the animal protection and environment ministry now to catch it alive and rehome it whenever possible)

Think I would run like hell :biggreen:

It is one reason why even though I could easily get a similar tech job in Malaysia I would rather stay in Northern Europe – snakes regularly get into the electricity and telecom cable distribution boxes, or they nest amongst radio antennas on the roof. By crawling through cable ducts they quite often find their way into the server/comms rooms you have to work in, and there are 163 venomous types found there!
