so ive a few questions about it.

im dying to try LSD but don’t really want to trip for hours and hours especially considering how dreadful the bad trips seem to be, and DMT sounds like a good alternative.
    – is it more like LSD or ketamine?
    – is it addictive and if so, how addictive?
    – is it easy to find, if u ask around? (I live in Ireland and have friends who have used a variety of drugs but DMT hasn’t been mentioned.)
    – whats the going rate for it? (where i live, its 50eu for 2gs of weed, 60-80eu for 1g of coke, just to give u an idea of what the prices are like here)
    – are the bad trips as bad as LSD bad trips are meant to be?
    – is it easy to have a bad trip on it considering its meant to be quite intense?
    – if its more like LSD, apart from the duration of the trip, how is it different/more intense?

and the last but most important question, would u suggest LSD, DMT, or shrooms for a first time tripper? 🙂 x

thanx guys & girls 🙂 xx

Can’t say I’ve ever managed to locate any dmt myself so can’t offer much info on that but ditto would like to try. Hard to say really whether first timers are better on shroomz or cid. I’ve done both and much preferred mushies as I found it more mellow. However others may say the opposite is true. But the advice I will give, you seem to concerned about a bad trip, if you over think things will turn ugly. Need to let go which is easier for some than others. If you really want to know what a negative trip feels like go puff on some salvia, which is legal, that will prepare you for even the worst possible LSD or mushy trip lol.

Ps I think dmt is actually more like a salvia trip than cid, ket, or shrooms

DMT is only like DMT, it’s nothing like acid or K or any other non-tryptamines. On acid there is no ego loss, even on the most intense bad trip. On acid you still have a sense of self (in fact sometimes you have an enhanced sense of self). The hallucinations are totally different on Acid, more distorting what is really there and traces, patterns etc. A DMT trip is nothing like this at all when you breakthrough reality completely breaks down and you are on a totally different plane of existance, you don’t perceive this to be an hallucination at all, it is actually reality.

Asking whether you can have a bad trip on it is not really relevant. There is no good or bad, only other. It’s kinda hard to explain until you have been there.

No, it’s not easy to get. You will need to find someone in your circle of friends that can get hold of it.

It doesn’t really matter which you try first to be honest. As long as you are in a comfortable setting with people that you trust you will have an interesting time.

Well said, that’s why I made no attempt to describe a salvia trip. It just is lol

DMT is the chemical slang. Rather like LSD is acid.

Refined DMT is not that easy to get, but the tree bark from which it is extracted (and from which tea can be brewed) is called ayahuasca. South American.

One thing you could consider is a trip out of your home state and go see it in it’s native environment – that way you wouldn’t be breaking any local laws.

I’ve never tried DMT myself, seen the effect on others, it is VERY potent, but thankfully does not last that long – minutes rather than hours.

Hallucinogens usually aren’t physically addictive, in the sense your body craves them. They can be psychologically addictive though, in the sense of a craving for seeing reality in a very strange way.

If some does cross your path, handle with respect.

EDIT: Apparently DMT occurs in many plants worldwide, found a guide here;-

DMT is everywhere – A general introduction to Ayahuasca

The tree bark is called “mimosa hostilis root bark”, ayahuasca is a brew made from several plants that have DMT in mixed with MAOI containing plants and some other plants.

So, when people buy ayahuasca online, it gets delivered to them ready brewed in a cup? Nope. Hence I assumed the tea making gear is actually tree bark. Mostly it is.

The brew is made of many things, the wood bark it’s self is not ayahuasca as it’s only one ingredient of it. You’re correct that some people use the bark (there are other things you can use though). You can also extract pure DMT from mimosa bark, but we don’t call the bark DMT. 😉

If you made a brew purely of the bark, it wouldn’t even work as DMT needs a MAOI mixed in for oral ingestion. The term ayahuasca in it’s broadest form means a solution comprising of a mixture of plant matter containing alkaloids including, but not limited to: DMT and some form of MAOI.

It’s like saying egg means “fried breakfast” as it’s one of the things included in a fried breakfast, but it doesn’t as you can use eggs for many things that aren’t fried breakfasts like cakes, even if they are the main ingredient in a fried breakfast.
