Some prominent darknet dealers were busted last year and have now appeared before Court in Noord-Holland.
The ringleader of the dealers got 6 years which is a normal sentence across Northern Europe for party drugs dealing where no violence was involved or any harm came to the users. Another defendant got 3 years.
Domestic dealers rarely get prison at all unless involved in other crime – It does appear the Court wanted to make an example of these folk due to the international aspect of their offending. This is a country where prisons are being closed due to lack of criminals – (some are even importing offenders from Norway which is outside the EU!)
In NL prison is only supposed to be part of the punishment – a bigger blow is the confiscation and seizure of all the profits and cars, watches and other “bling” the dealers bought with them.

How do I like this, I’ve been away too long I think……
there isn’t currently a “like/upvote” facility on the posts (it was briefly here but disappeared when Dr B corrected some other bugs, maybe it might return)
Maybe it will……lol
