  • At least, according to the pastor Ray Hagins.

There will be no rapture & Jesus is not coming back Pastor Ray Hagins.mp4 – YouTube

Just posting this as it is useful sometimes to have a counter argument even if you don’t agree with it or indeed have time to watch it.

Shocking news!!!! (I jest In my haste)

Unfortunately I’ve no time for stuff like this, like you say some people might not have. I’ve seen enough of it already to have made my mind up to enough of an extent to know I CBA to watch it. Like you say, every angle needs to be viewed or there’s no hope for humanity and freedom of information. I’m sure someone will be a bit more enthusiastic then me.

Does that mean that the tooth fairy & Aslan aren’t coming back as well? If so, not sure if I wanna be alive any more, lol.

Fictional characters, don’t you just love em?

Believe it or not, I’ve seen Churches with “The Chronicles of Narnia” offered as religious references. Also, “the tooth fairy” does leave physical evidence.

Problem for me is, if people won’t debate or argue, then the bullshitters win by default.

Fucking hell, the church’ll do anything to appear to be moving with the times man, unbelievable!

As for the debate thing, I’ll argue the point all day AND give evidence to back it up! Ain’t a single religious ‘miracle’ that can’t be explained with science.

    Not true.

Scientific method requires that a phenomena be repeatable and the conditions empiracally establishable for an effect to be observed.

Miracles are, by their very nature, one offs. So science cannot investigate them (at least, by using a scientific method).

The best science can do is ignore them or pretend they didn’t happen. But, there is actually some research on beating the “observer effect” to see if consciousness really does affect reality.

Pretty much proved on the sub-nuclear level, at least.
