my ear hurts! been getting worse the past three days and started leeking gack out of it, off to the docs tomo i think 🙁

yep they suck balls, my mums got some amoxicillin upstairs might have to go and raid the cupboards. had this same thin about five times in indonesia, sucks

snorting alot of shizz makes this happen sometimes .. infection.

give nasal fule a break and goto docs .. they’ll probably prescribe you some steroid/antibiotic ear drops

I had it in Thaliand, always happens right where u dont want it to ay, the middle of a jungle 2 days trek from a hospital. Wasnt the most pleasent of times

Hi process , I had an ear infection for a week once , worst pain i ever had . And night time was always the worst . As well as antibiotics make sure those doctors give you strong pain killers to kill the pain so you sleep at night . I find they didnt want to with me at first as strong pain killers are supposed to be addictive but after four days of no sleep and me being like a bear with a sore head and possible on the verge of killing anyone the doctor saw sense . Hope you get better process and soon

pains not quite that bad yet found out ive got simmers ear or otitis externa Swimmer’s Ear took some paracetamol and some ibuprofen to reduce the swelling its sorted the pain for now. got some drops ive gotta take for 10 days. he also said he wouldnt recomend diving, but fuck that advice tbh. gonna get some ear plugs and you can get these drops to take once you get out which sort of drys the water out and stops the infection starting hopefully. nothing is stopping on this mission at the mo…

well the only thing stopping me now is selling that bloody van!

he wouldn’t recommend diving in the short term or forever? not being able to clear your ears whilst diving is f-ing horrible/burst eardrum time

think he meant forever but he can jog on with that advice tbh. i know if you cant equalise its intense pain,but it shouldnt effect that just theres a pssibility that the infection could return due to water being pressured into my ear. just means id have to stop to let it clear up. gonna spend a bit on decent ear plugs first and hope that sort it…

Can you use ear plugs when diving? good luck with it anyways matey hope it clears up soon

I’m pretty sure he ment avoid diving whilst your ear is blocked as your ear drums could burst with the pressure build up!

either way, im going diving. just not gonna be poking any more cotton buds in there, he said there the worst fo fucking your ears up as they can scratch the canal as thier so tightly wound and just push the shit further in… feels so nice poking around in there tho! :weee:

yeah sticking anything in your eas (even cotton buds) can be dangerous Best to use ear drops or warm olive oil – that normaly does the trick.
