Is there guidelines somewhere of what information exactely should be released to public and what should be kept secret ?
It is a kind of trade off, between releasing too much for the cops to compromise the party and not enough for ravers to come. How to reach the right balance ? Shouldn’t info about illegal parties be advertised at all ?
It’s totaly upto the people organising it. For example you have the people who advertise on facebook and get a massive police pressence but draw crouds of thou+ or you get parties who advertise to no one and only spread info by word of mouth that mby get 100 odd people but have no police presance at least till later on in the night (depending where the party is). and all manner of shades of multi coloured grey inbetween.
Imo. you start small when making a system .. gradualy build up on numbers and then you’re not as likely to attract the wrong people/police, as you’ll not need to plaster facebook with adverts or hand out flyers to strangers aas you’ll be able contact every one you want there by word of mouth. The bigger the party – the more risk of police and idiots turning up especialy if it’s advertised too much.
