When you buy crack (freebase), you take the risk to get rocks made with :
1) Ammoniac and which haven’t been washed (cleaned) by heating the stones 2 times again in water to remove the Ammoniac trapped inside.
Normally it should be washed 2 times, even 3 times minimum if the reaseller is freebasing 10 to 100 gr in one go to be sure to remove the whole Ammoniac.
Another solutions would be to break the freebase rocks in powder and let the ammonia gaz, (which is diluate in water forming the aqueous solution called ammoniac), evaporating to leave the freebase powder clean and dry. (but there are not many freebase consumer ready to wait several hours before using what they bought…-lol
2) Baking Soda, which in that case the risk is that the freebase is mixed with excessively remaining baking soda. In that case, the only way is to wash also the stones by heating them in water.
The exces of baking soda will react with the Acidic part OH- and the Basique form H3O+ of the water and remove the excess of baking soda.
3) freebase made with synthetic adulterant like novocaine (=procaine), lidocaine or benzocaine which can’t be removefd by freebasing (and many more).
SO THE BEST WAY IS FINALLY TO BUY COKE , TEST IF THERE ISN’T ANY SYNTHETIQUE ADULTERANTS WITH TESTERS OR WITH SOME TRICKS WHICH WOULD BE TOO LONG TO EXPLAIN NOW, AND FREEBASING IT YOURSELF OR MINIMUM CLEANING IT BY HEATING IT UNTIL THE ROCKS BECAME AN OIL DROP TO REMOVE THE AMMONIAC OR BAKING SODA.
