even when the ice melts it’s still gona be colder than just having cold tap water in it. Also, the size of the bowl holding the water makes no difference at all, the smoke bubbles are going to leave the end of the chillum and head straight upwards, it’s not gonna swim around in the bowl to cool itself down, it takes the shortest path possible through the water so depth is far more important than bowl size.
