yorkie bars is basically a large bar whitch is a chunk of chocolate, and the advertising company quote ” its not for girls”. sorry should of made that clear.

It is apparently sold in Norway, but many people complained the advertising campaign was sexist.

Tieing in with the nostalgia thread, the Yorkie bar is one of the surviving brands from the 70s and has always been marketed as an “icon of masculinity”. It was the sort of chocolate bar a young lad would eagerly consume to look “big and strong”, due to its size and thickness you need good teeth to bite into it.

Previous adverts usually featured a lorry driver – ironically I doubt if the present slogan would have been acceptable in the 70s/80s as the feminist movement was a lot stronger then!
