This was in a storage area at work, surprisingly it had a valid safety testing label but was described as “not working”.
I very carefully powered it up (and checked that there werent any exposed parts live at 230V as a lot of old equipment was designed in a way where that can sometimes happen)
All that needed doing (at least to play records in manual mode, the automatic mechanism needs more work) was to resolder the connector plug on the pickup element 🙂
