**Malaysia?** – FORGET IT! They have one of the most fascist anti-drugs laws in the world! As you may realise from my screen name – I am half-Chinese, and have relatives out there.
Although people tried to hold raves etc they get a LOT of shit from the authorities, especially stuff like the anti-drugs squad and the Islamic CID who turn all the lights on at 01:00 at nightclubs and beat up any kissing couples they find.
When I was out there last in the mid 90s some Chinese spent thousands setting up this techno nightclub. Every weekend, their electricity supply would mysteriously go off – in the end the club had to shut down for a bit as they lost so much money.
BTW that “bitch ass law” was passed by the same people who let you in the country and pay your wages – unfortunately u have to live with it if u want to work there.
If you want to party, then quit Malaysia and stay in the UK or Europe where it is allowed…
