external or internal?errr…… external.. the internal ones just look like large IDE type connectors… this is more like a scart on one end (D shaped and very angular.. if that makes sense??) and standard 50pin ext on the other………….
@ Acidfairy…… nope, not for the yamaha, for the emu (should have got an osterich, Rod Hull did warn me, but would i listen?!?!:get_you: ) I want quick and seamless transfer of samples from PC to sampler.. i have a scsi cd drive connected to the sampler, but its painfully slow and old.. and i still havent worked out the format for writing samples to disk on my pc.. now sort of wish i had bought an RS.. but i’m still loving the wee RM, great fun!
already have a pci scsi interface you see.. just need the f#ckin cable, and they are expensive and like hens teeth… my techie mate has store rooms at work that are literally IT graveyards, even he cant find one
