Carrot and corriander is lovely but to add an extra special twist add cream and ginger. Lovely
had some roast chicken the other week, and used teh carcass to make stock. basically, you get all teh meat off teh bones and boil em with an assortment of veg, herbs and seasoning, not chopped small at all (like onions in quarters style) for hours and hours (mine was cooking for 8). then you strain the bones out and leave the goop in the fridge, where it will turn all fatty (basically what you have done is boil teh marrow out the bones – sounds manky but thats how its done!). viola you have homemade chicken stock!
you can now make your own chicken soup with the meat you liberated from teh carcass. fucking tasty as, i kid you not. and a great way of geting the most out of your meat (cos not only is it pricey, its a bit lame killing animals too often i recon).
and now, a word from teh mighty boosh:
Soup, soup a tasty, soup, souper spicy, carrot and coriander,
Chilli chowder.
Crouton, crouton, crunchy friends in a liquid broth.
I am gazpacho, oh. I am a summer soup, oh!
Miso, Miso, fighting in the dojo, Miso, Miso, Oriental prince in the land of soup!
