We are very sorry to announce that this Saturday’s mid-winter gig will not go ahead, as we don’t feel it is socially responsible to do so. A new date will be announced very soon!
We will keep the Facebook event and ticketing page live, so you keep track of the new date.
We are disappointed that we’ve had to make this decision, especially as we know these social gatherings are so important for people’s mental health during these dark months. However with less than a week until Xmas and the current rising figures of the Omricon variant, we don’t want to play a part in putting more strain on the already overstretched NHS. A day ago, the UK saw the highest number of daily cases since the pandemic began. Solidarity to those still working long hours battling this horrible virus, whilst misinformation spreads and pits us all against each other.
It is super sad that we can’t be together again, please check in on your loved ones if you can’t physically be with them – this is an extra stressful and depressing winter period for many.
