a lot of the polydactyl (extra-toed) cats are better hunters as their wider paws (and extra claws) make it easier to catch mice etc. Those with “thumbs” have also been known to open latches of doors and cupboards as well!

In Denmark we call them rat-cats for the same reason..
They are good hunters..

they are amazing rat hunters….as i know from finding the corpses :groucho:
