Today marks the sixth consecutive day of clouds in New York City – cloudy as in no sun whatsoever. I’m dreaming of sunny skies, so I scoped out the website for the Westin Hotel in Long Beach, site of the Nov 10-12 DPA conference.
WOO HOO I can’t wait there’s an outdoor heated pool, a bar in each room and the hotel is a mile from the beach.
Rooms at the Westin are booked, but you can still get rooms at the Travelodge (5 min walk), Rodeway (8 min walk), and Inn of Long Beach (1 block).
(there are panels on the drug war, too. did i mention the beach and pool?)
