  • does anyone else feel like time is being sped up at parties?

I mean you get in there and it just seems like a couple of hours before the daylight is getting into the warehouse and everyones starting to clear up and disperse.. yet I know it was at least 12 hours I was raving for… :you_crazy

Jeez,General, that’s exactly how I feel – you get there, you get a drink, have a chat, a dance, and then boom, the sun’s out and it’s time to scuttle for the nearest after party. And it feels like you missed a few hours….
    Shocker.
Could be that we’re getting old, in the same sense that a weekend no longer feels as long as it should, or for example a year sure feels like it speeds past a lot quicker.
    Zoom!
    Fukwazat?
    That was 2006, mate.
    Jayzus, that was quick!
    Hmmm. :mkay:
Be seeing Santa’s on the lurk again before you know it.

Ha ha don’t think so man, i’m 18 and i too feel that time is passing far to quickly! was at a party last weekend and before i knew it the sun was shining and the poeple leaving. Maybe the police have designed some kind of “party speed up mechanism” so they dont have to kick around waiting to be pricks as everyone leaves..??! haha

You know i think you may be right, cos parties seem to last bout 35 mins till sun is up these days for me.

Time is relative guys…If you think it is flying by it will and if you think it is crawling by it will :groucho:

If you get absorbed in something time passes without you being aware of it andif you are bored a minute takes an hour so obviously those are great parties you are going to 😉

    raaaraaaraaa

For me I reckon moving area is a big factor…

I am about the only person who lives round these ends who goes to SE England to party – I’ve got local friends here but they seem to have very busy lives and need to be back on Sunday afternoons or even mornings for work (dunno what it is but weekend working seems really common in East Anglia :yakk:)

so for me its a 3 hour train journey being the only raver on the entire train ….

Yes sir! i have missions getting lifts to parties every weekend and it’s always cos my mates have work on sundays..

know what ya mean, it goes so fast, and then at the end i’m kinda in 2 minds. well hyped up cos it was a killa party, but annoyed that it’s over so soon (even if it wasn’t really!)

As you get older time just keeps speeding up. But i agree that when your buzzin your tits off and lost in the music time goes well to quick, but if you dont notice it your loving it!
