climate change and peak oil are the twin issues which are going to effect us. its not going to be a case of everyones house getting flooded, so much as an uncomfortable tightening pressure on everybody except the hyper wealthy
you are already seeing climate change impact upon people in marginal lands in sub saharan africa, and this is only going to spread. transition towns look like an intelligent way forward without throwing your hands up in the air saying we are all doomed!
