Say what now? The.only star I know is the one at the centre of our solar system which we are ever so slowly being drawn in to. The sun is the best star. Or the daily star for that matter, I’ve seen some great err news articles in it err yeah news articles……

Sirius is actually a binary, so technically it’s two stars. The fact that they are both different wavelengths is what makes Sirius appear to strobe different colours when viewed with the naked eye.

BTW this is one of these threads that can slowly just fade away and implode…

TBH I’m more disappointed by the fact whilst they can watch GLEE (crap as it is) and presumably can get vindaloo if they wanted (India is only next door and a lot of techies move between both nations, plus the same curries are eaten across Asia but given different local names) in this supposedly advanced I cannot see China TV English service, Al-Jazeera or the other interesting foreign channels for shit, they are sent via London – but the signal is not strong enough here as the antennas have the wrong beam pattern (Londoners can watch Sudbury!)
