yep, iknow it will open a can of worms, but i recon its worth it. i mean, i’m sure that there were a lot of blacks who were scared to ask for their due rights, and there was very little precendent for them too, but freedom is a hard-won thing.
i know at the mo, all the ptb will say is “get a lisence” but this is why i’m interested in media exposure. it may be a wack example, but jamie olivers tv program on school dinners provoked a reaction from the government, not a particularly beleivable or shocking reponse, granted, but one step at a time, eh? i realise the connection between frreparties and school dinners is no existant, but im sure you get the point. there has to be a third way
not all events are lisenced, so what we need to do is get ourselves put in that category. some parties already have, by being careful about how their party is set up, but thats just an unofficial loophole, which could be clarified and strengthened by law.
i’m not gonna pretend any of this is easy, or even likely. all i know is that i think it is the right thing to do and the way forward. i also dont think that even if we did manage to get sme kind of tolerance/ acceptance of our parties, that there would be a total halt of dangerous crackhead parties, they are another battle. but if we can get some allowances for well run freeparties, that would be sick.
