Adam McGoldrick was doing his rounds on Slade road, in Holland-on sea, when he saw something moving among the rubbish so went to investigate.
He only caught a brief glimpse of it, originally thinking it was a dog – but on closer inspection it turned out to be a little black pig.
“It was more than a bit of a surprise and I wasn’t sure what to do at first – we often have seagulls or other birds ripping the bags but never a pig,” he said.“I managed to round him up but had to call back to the office at Weeley for a dog warden to come and collect the pig in his van.”
