i like using u.v, but that is a shitload….i’d prolly be more up for spliting the cost with you and doing a massive collaboration peice, as i still have a lot to learn about uv paint (although i did manage one of those landscapes that turns from night to day under different lights- mission!)

people also paint computer parts with it, use transparent PC cases install UV tubes powered by the 12V (a bit like chavs’ cruise vehicles, but with PCs!)
one safety issue which came up whilst researching [which I didn’t know of until now] was that althought the filtered blacklight is safe to look at, long-term exposure to it at close range temporarily alters your own colour perception and visual acuity [1]- so after spending hours on a piece chill out for a bit, don’t immediately drive or cycle on a busy road!
[1] I had suspected this; but assumed it was the effects of other substances 😉
