  • WARNING TO VIRGIN MEDIA USERS

THE BELOW EMAIL IS A SCAM……… IF YOU RECEIVE ONE DO NOT CLICK THE LINK, DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL/BILLING INFO, CONTACT VIRGIN MEDIA AND REPORT IT

I got the email below this morning, even before my first cuppa tea and still half asleep I thought it looked dodgy and called Virgin Media who told me they have had 100s of calls about it from customers, the email is a fake/scam, and to ignore it while they investigate.

I told them on the phone they should send an email of their own to all customers to warn them but I doubt they will

Cheers for the warning will let my dad know.

Thanks for the heads up, phishing scams are tricky. The link would take you to a clone of the VM sign in page and make you enter your username and password and them probably ask for your details.
