    THE BELOW EMAIL IS A SCAM……… IF YOU RECEIVE ONE DO NOT CLICK THE LINK, DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL/BILLING INFO, CONTACT VIRGIN MEDIA AND REPORT IT

    I got the email below this morning, even before my first cuppa tea and still half asleep I thought it looked dodgy and called Virgin Media who told me they have had 100s of calls about it from customers, the email is a fake/scam, and to ignore it while they investigate.

    I told them on the phone they should send an email of their own to all customers to warn them but I doubt they will

    This e-mail has been sent you by Virgin Media to inform you that we were
    unable to process your most recent payment of bill. This might be due to
    one of the following reasons:

    • A recent change in your personal information such as Name or address.
    • Your Credit or Debit card has expired.
    • Insufficient funds in your account.
    • Cancellation of Direct Debit agreement.
    • Your Card issuer did not authorize this transaction.

    To avoid Service interruption you will need to update your billing profile, failure to update your profile may lead in service cancellation and termination.
