you can tell who on this thread is actually Welsh as none of them seem that bothered about the weather :laugh_at:

Wales is a beautiful country (and to be fair it was actually quite warm at Heddlutek earlier in the year) but it can be wet, cold and windy even in high summer..

The owner went up yesterday and it looks like some bugger had pushed it over on it side.

I doubt if thats randoms as surely there’s not that much passing traffic in that area? Either its some “ravers” who thought it would be a fun trick, or irate locals (apparently they weren’t to happy)

The other party had a projector robbed from their event too :hopeless:

not sure how much damage has been done, a load of the lads are going back up l8er hoping that they can push it back up onto it wheels and then towe the fucker out. Fingers crossed they can do it cause that van is fuckin wicked!!

Ello all bin a while aint it. Wish i had made it to this one but was visiting my sister in nottingham. But i know the area its in an sounds like you guys couldnt have asked for a more beautifal place. i do a bit of biking round there. Hope everything went smoothly an stuff. P.S. you guys have now caused a weed shortagre in aber cause of that rave, so must av bin good.

Hi, lets us know vans ok. We were the ones with the ropes and ratchet strap trying to get it back up and felt awful leaving you guys without getting it out. We went to the gargage down the end of road – nice blokes in there (made loads of money!!!!) if we of know it was there we wouldnt of ran out of fuel for Gen!!!! – anyway they were going to see if they could find someone with vehicle/recovery truck to get you out.

haha, nah i dont think the locals were that happy. I remember seeing some farmer guy or something who had to turn back around on the way up the hill. Although people wer helping him, he had a half furious,half scared shitless look on his face. If he didnt think everyone was gonna stab him he wouldve gone nuts.

I know the weather in wales is generally shit, but come on!! Its the end of may! It shouldnt be that cold, it was colder than it was at any point in winter (i had 4 layers on!)

Unlucky about the van guys, hope everything is ok.

Well I had 5 layers on! I’d been told me mate’s car was packed full and in the end it was only me, him, and his missus, but I’d packed my weekend into a cubic foot, playing it safe and hoping for some breaks of good weather here and there. I had no cold-weather clothing, repeat NO COLD WEATHER CLOTHING!! Was freezin me nuts off a bit at the, ahem, “barn one”, but who cares? Loved the tunes, the atmosphere, and what I would call my first genuinely hallucinogenic experience* on “a fair bit” of mdma, courtesy of me mate, and bollocks to the weather.

Yeah, I’m a newcomer to heavily mind-altering stuff and the whole rave scene, but I think it was inevitable. Naturally I felt a little out of place, but as me mate said: “Ali (…) you deserve to be here, for what you do!”

Loved it and can’t wait for more. Massive respect to all involved in putting it on!

my mate got his Van back and some bitch has kicked the windscreen through and stolen his sounds out of there.

Right twat cause the day he went up to check the van out and found it on its side it was still alright, means some locals must of done it.

But the vans back, which is the main thing

No way! cant believe someone done that to it. Bloody locals or was it the sheep…. they loved the music so much at the party their fields seemed so quiet without it!
