Water Or Coke ???
Which one is the ‘Real Thing’ ???:toxic:
We all know that water is important but you’ve never seen it written down like this before.
WATER
1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half world population.)
2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.
3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one’s metabolism as much as 3%.
4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study.
5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.
8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50%less likely to develop bladder cancer. Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
COKE
1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.
3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the “real thing” sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.
8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.
2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous Material place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.
3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!
Now the question is, would YOU like a glass of water or Coke?
Water Or Coke ?
Life’s great mystery is finally answered – Which one is the ‘Real Thing’ ???
coca cola is the devil’s own piss
and lets not forget that it is bloody addictive once you drink more than a glass a day
[worst guy i saw drinks 4-10 litres a day; i’m surprised ha has any intestines left….]

Worst case of soft drink addiction i saw was a m8 who was drinkimng ten cans of redbull a day cause he got them free at work. :surprised
thats the caffeine…
I used to drink bare irn-bru every day at work – colleagues would laugh as I would stack the cans on my desk and keep them in bags until I had about 50 or so (we had a place to recycle cans but it was on the ground floor and I worked on floor 6 so I’d take them down in bulk).
At least with irn-bru you were helping a British (well Scottish) business (although the stuff was also made by coca cola. Tasted nicer IMO as well).
some more weird shit regarding coke:
– originally it was a tonic drink which contained the extracts of the coca plant leaves…hence the coca
– cola nuts (hence cola) can contain high levels of arsenic
– if you pour it on concrete in a hot country it will eat all the way through till the acid runs out
-in south america they sometimes use warm flat coke to help people with food poisoning etc ie to stop them throwing up
-for some asthmatics drinking a can/glass of cola (not just the real thing BTW) will trigger difficulty in breathing [usually within 3-6 minutes of ingestion]

:horay: He he,like this one..
Its okay to do drugs…But coke is the devils work:crazy_fre
my mates just been banned from drinking red bull by his dentist, he was on close to if not more than 10 a day, at least 1 an hour
turned into a bit of an insomniac for a bit too
hmmmm:groucho:
i was inspired [is that the right word?] by this thread to go and find an old and manky pipe i had never cleaned and soak it in coke for three days to see what happened:weee:
AAARGH
never ever drink that stuff – the gauze [totally blocked and gooed up] came out shiny [yes really] clean and it even shifted 80% of the resident and very thick tar from the rest of the pipe [what was left just dissolved in soapy water….]:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl
what does it do to your insides? YIKES i dread to think:hopeless: i wont be drinking it again :weee:
i drank 2ltrs of coke a day for a year then wonderd why i couldent eat and i was pissing blood.. i had eaten the lineing off my stomache… now i only have caffine free diet coke and in lots of moderation…
FACT- my mother is a jewler and uses coke to clean things:)
what about the irn bru? curious thing is there was a middle aged Scotsman in one of the offices who would watch me getting the stuff from the machine and mutter stuff like “its nae guid for you, laddie, a’ that fizzy pop….” – this surprised me as he was otherwise very patriotic (it tasted nicer than Coke….)
I told him I preferred Scotch but the new HR policies strongly discouraged you from drinking it during the working day (and you can’t hide the bottles in the new “euro-size” desk drawers)
