  • Oh and any wrestling game. Me and my mates used to create ourselves then get pissed and stoned and set up a computer controlled match and bet on who was gonna win. Bit sad but it passed some time lol

They should deffo make abes orgasm, would be epic.

But abes oddesy (cant spell) was a great game, one of those ones that really immerses you into the roll. “Hello”, “hello”, “follow me” “okay” *FART* “he he he*

Just boght Xcom enemy unknown 2012, it’s pretty damn good

Bought Borderlands2 yesterday too, will probs have a bash later but looks pretty sweet.

i have borderlands 1, I have had it for years. I played like 1 hour of it and never touched it again. Not that I didn’t like it it was just I had bought 5 games and wanted to play the others more. LOL

Borderlands 2 is ment to be really good though

Certainly the most addictive, I played all the games below for insane amounts of time and enjoyed every minute : )

    Return to Earth ( Speccy 48k )

    VGA Planets ( PC )

    C&C Red Alert ( PS1 )

    Civ 2 ( PS1 )

    Destruction Derby ( PS1 )

Dont know why but the newer games on PS2 and PS3 just dont do it for me, they’re all very pretty with the graphics but they dont have appeal long term

You could probably split this thread into

    1) Arcade
    2) Home PC or Console – Offline
    3) Home PC or Console – Online

I do that all the time. I buy games in 2s or 3s then obsess over the one I wanted to play the most for 6months then go buy some more, often leaving games in cellophane completely untouched. I must have at least 10games for my PS3 that I’ve bought and not played yet.

just in the middle of sorting out my hyperspin/xbmc box and made me think of these..

    road rash 3d ps
    constructor pc
    motal kombat 1-2
    bad company 2/battlefield 3
donpachi/ do donpachi any bullet games really
    metal slug….
    too many to name really

I had this on the amstrad 464 too, I spent hours with my brother and brother in law hunting down other Uboats and ships. I was only like 6 when I first tried playing it as I grew up a bit i figured out how to change the torpedo tredgectorys etc but i still wasn’t as good as my older brther etc.

And the Silent hunter series, the true successor of silent service, I have had loads of them but SH3 is the best one I can run on my laptop wit minimal lag. I highly recomend playing them. You get a awesome rush when you are hiding under a class 5 destroyer, hoping that his sonar won’t pick you up before he come in range of your torpedos, trust guys it is phatt

Not sure which version of that game I had, cant remember if it was on PC or Amiga500, either way it was a lot of fun

GTA IV is also a good game.. im cruising round on it stoned out my mind in a gangster car with some ghetto ass hiphop on doing drive bys and cruising haha.
Anyone looking forward to any games?

Silent service was on tons of platforms, there was even a port on NES. Silent hunter is so addictive though. Sometimes I can spend like a whole hour at 50m under water just waiting for the destroyers to loose my position. Also the AI is really good too, if they see your Uboats wake they will come after you and hit you with a depth charge run. I tried palying SH5 but I had serious frame rate issues so I couldn’t play a decent game really. But I bet it is good though.

Command and Conquer Red Alert (PC)
    War Craft 2 (PC)
    Mass Effect
    Dead Space
Halo (dont mind too much which one they are so simular)

    Ooh thats tough…

    Final Fantasy 7

    Dune 2

    Another World

    The Secret of Monkey Island

    Donkey Kong Country

My mistake, this wasnt the one I had, after waking up and submitted a request the ‘long forgotten, misfiled & obsolete’ memory sector of my brain the answer finally came back……………..

I had 688 Attack Sub on the Amiga

Looks very similar though, I think you could choose the USSR or USA, based on a Bridge layout and you had to select helm, engine room, periscope, chart room, torpedo room etc, and do the missions like hunt subs, hunt convoys protected by destroyers etc

Loved that game, pick off 2 or 3 freighters from a convoy then all the destroyers come after you and have evade or kill them, great stuff

Damn I want an updated version now, would never have even thought about it without this thread

    Dead Space

Quality game! How did I forget?! Got Dead Space 2 and it’s just one of many games for my PS3 I’ve bought and not got round to playing.

I add the Tekken series to my list too. I mastered all the players at one point on Tekken 5 apart from Yoshimitsu. That dodgy bastard always eluded my button bashing skills.
