Since I’ve been starting my private practice currently been driving this (not going to win any races in it, nor do I plan to), it took me a while to work out exactly which model it is (a relative who works at the same company is supervising me, though its a fleet vehicle which I happen to be insured to drive as a learner due to the company bulk insurance contract)

    VOLKSWAGEN Polo 3 Doors 1.2 (55 HP) (2001 – 2005) Technical Specifications & Features

BTW we recently filled it with 38.5 litres of petrol (gasoline). (It was the first time I had ever driven to a petrol station in my life to fill up a car, and I ended up having to stretch the hose to its full length as I had picked the pump on the wrong side :yakk:)

In the UK this cost around £52 (€60 or $80).

So those of you in USA or other countries might see now why not all young people here drive and many start motoring at a much later stage in life (my instructor and others in the country are saying they are regularly seeing more pupils from age 35 or older and also a lot more new migrants to the UK (who have a job which requires driving) rather than younger teenagers…

We do also have better public transport in some metropolitan (city) areas especially near London but anywhere else it is not as good.

ha this thread is name after me i dont drive cant afford it its annoying im a ublic transport guy

i drive a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta. i’m about to install 2 12” Alpine Type R subwoofers in the trunk powered by a 1000watt Alpine monoblock amp. i also plan on installing some blue/green LED lights on the interior and in the trunk. after i upgrade the soundsystem i plan on putting in a cold air intake and a new exhaust kit. i’ve also got my eye on another possible project car. its a 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe that i want to turn into a show car.

How long you had that then? Just curious cos someone stole mine a few weeks back and I’d like it back! The police were no help, said it wasn’t their jurisdiction and that I needed the space police – and for those of you who’ve never had to deal with the space police, you’re lucky!

I’ve had it for years mate, what did your spaceship look like? I’ll keep an eye out for it next time I’m going to hyperspace.

It was a metallic silver SpaceRaider 3000 mate, the old mk1 version. If you could keep an eye out, that’d be much appreciated man!
