And on the thread hijacking, that’s generally what happens with conversations, they move on from their original point and end up being about something totally different. How many times have any of us been out with pals and only had one topic of conversation running right through the night? I don’t think it’s ever happened to me, I’m guessing most folk are in that boat too.

That’s also true, personally I’ve never had a conversation on just one topic that didn’t die out within like 10 minutes.
